LCD TV Sizes

There are quite a few sizes of LCD TVs and each has a popular use, but the large ones, (30 inches and bigger) are usually for home entertainment centers. Here you will find a list of LCD TV sizes and what they are generally used for.

13 Inch LCD TV

A 13 inch LCD TV is very cheap, less than $200 most of the time, but you won't be able to see the image very well. Getting a good CRT TV would be a much better buy if you are resorting to an LCD of this size.

17 Inch LCD TV

A 17 inch LCD panel is considered a perfect size for a computer screen, but is fairly small for a TV. If you are looking for a good computer monitor, then you should look into a 17 inch LCD display.

20 Inch LCD TV

A 20 inch LCD TV works great for places where you will be close to the TV, but as for a home entertainment center, it won't be very good. You want something at least 27 inches to make the TV viewing good for the average viewing distance.

27 Inch LCD TV

An LCD with a 27 inch display is standard for an LCD display, but is smaller than a 27 inch CRT display. It is one of the fastest selling LCDs because it is fairly inexpensive while offering fantastic images to the consumer.

32 Inch LCD TV

A 32 inch LCD TV is one of the most popular sizes for TVs because they are fairly inexpensive and they are similar in size to the 26 inch CRTs. They cost $1000 or less and can be found virtually anywhere that sells TVs.

42 Inch LCD TV

The 42 inch LCD TVs are by far the best buy for an LCD TV because they give a great picture with a large viewing area. This gives the real High Definition experience with a good size without getting outrageously expensive.
