15 inch LCD TVs

15 inch LCD TVs are popular for use as monitors for security, computer monitors, and kitchen/bathroom TVs because they take up very little space and offer a great image. This market is large for this reason, so many companies make 15 inch LCDs and here you will find a list with their quality expectations.

Akai LCD TV

Akai is an up and coming LCD manufacturer, but if you want to take a gamble with it, then you can walk away with a great deal. It has pretty good ratings for a newcomer and is fairly reasonably priced.

Hitachi LCD TV

Hitachi doesn't make a 15 inch LCD display, but it does make some high quality LCDs that are larger. They make some of the highest quality LCD displays that you can find on the market today, so choose them for high quality.

JVC LCD TV

JVC came out with two new displays in January of 2007 that will change the LCD security market. If you are looking to get a security system, then this is the company that you want to buy from for the top of the line.

Magnavox LCD TV

Magnavox got very good user ratings for their 15 inch displays under the Phillips Magnavox label, a solid company with a great track record. This would be a good buy if you want something quality without spending too much.

Maxent LCD TV

Maxent is fairly good, but it doesn't have near the same prestige as a Sharp, Pioneer, or Phillips LCD TV. They make for fairly good TVs, though, if you aren't worried about having the best LCD.

Olevia LCD TV

Olevia makes some more low quality LCDs than most of the market and they have fewer features than most displays. This is in an effort to substitute price for quality to get a piece of a lucrative market.

Panasonic LCD TV

Panasonic is a top dealer in TVs, and their LCD market is much the same, with a good quality at mid-range prices. Those looking to buy an LCD TV should check into Panasonic or Phillips for good quality and low price.

Philips LCD TV

Phillips makes some great 15 inch LCD TVs and is one of the best companies overall for LCD TVs, but can be a little pricy. You may want to check out a company that specializes in LCD first.

RCA LCD TV

RCA is a brand that offers some lower end electronics, but the 15 inch LCD that the offer is about the same price as higher brands. It is not a good buy, however, as their quality tends to be less than average.

Samsung LCD TV

You can get a 15 inch LCD display from Samsung on several websites for under $300, include shipping and insurance and it is still a great price. This is the way to go for a really good 15 inch LCD display with low cost.

Sharp LCD TV

Sharp makes some of the better LCD TVs on the market, but their TVs run a little higher than the normal LCD TV. If you want quality regardless of price, then Sharp will give you just that.

Syntax LCD TV

Syntax makes some low grade LCD displays that cuts corners on cost and ends up getting a good review on some sights. This display can be a two edged sword. It can either be a really good TV for the money, or it might break the week after you get it.

Tatung LCD TV

Tatung makes some high grade home security displays that are 15 inch LCD displays but they also offer some of their products for personal use through Westinghouse. Westinghouse Digital Electronics offers some good LCDs as well, but they are hard to find outside the Tatung label.

Toshiba LCD TV

Toshiba makes some LCDs that rank among the better half, but expect to pay a little extra for the higher grade. These TVs don't come off the shelf at bottom dollar, if you want good for low price, look elsewhere.

Vizio LCD TV

Vizio, while a good LCD TV, does not make any 15 inch LCD displays, but they do make 13 inch and 20 inch LCDs that make a great replacement. If you really want a 15 for its price and size, check Panasonic or Phillips.

Westinghouse LCD TV

Westinghouse makes a 15 inch LCD, but it is highly uncommon so if you really desire one, you will have to search it out. Try ebay or Amazon.com for your best shot at finding this elusive display.
